A QUEST TO FIND THE REMARKABLE IN THE UNREMARKABLE
I have lived and worked most of my life in Surrey and, now retired, have been able to spend more time exploring and photographing the beauty of this leafy county.
However, it’s easy to overlook your home landscape and think it’s less exciting compared to other famous places. This feeling led me to start a project to explore and capture the remarkable scenes around me. My ongoing goal is to find and photograph the “epic” in and around The Surrey Hills National Landscape.
Finally, I am proud to share my first book, available directly from the Blurb Bookstore. 144 pages packed with atmospheric photos of landscapes, woodlands, fungi, insects, and flowers. I include anecdotes about the inspiration behind some of my favourite images and share interesting history about the locations visited.
