Box Hill fans out into five spurs, the third of these is called Juniper Top. While climbing this spur one morning I paused halfway up to catch my breath and take in the view. Looking down into Happy Valley, I noticed a stand of trees. The early sun had only just crested the summit, sending its rays down the valley, beautifully illuminating the autumn gold of these trees against the darker hillside behind. What particularly caught my eye was the distinctive ‘V’ shape they created and how this shape was reflected in the gap of the foreground trees.

Print will be rolled in tissue and sent to you in a card postal tube.
