I saw this butterfly while walking in the Woodland Trust Langley Vale Centenary Wood. The Chalkhill Blue (Polyommatus coridon) is a striking butterfly that can only be found on chalk and limestone grasslands in southern England. The males feature silvery-blue wings with a dark brown border, while females are brown. They are quite small and can only be seen between July and September.
