Golden Brown

from £27.00

Giclee print on archival quality paper.

While walking on Banstead Common I often pass a copse of silver birch trees that I have often photographed. To enter the woodland you climb a small bank, pushing through a dense stand of bracken that steadily narrows the path as it grows ever higher throughout the spring and summer months. On this autumn morning the bracken had turned a golden brown, completely covering the path and so there was no chance of me entering the woodland. However, its rich texture and stunning colour, perfectly setting off the pale trunks of the silver birches behind, was more than compensation.

Print will be rolled in tissue and sent to you in a card postal tube.
