The oxeye daisy, a native wildflower, is a beloved sight across the British countryside. It often blooms in traditional hay meadows, along roadsides, and at field and woodland edges. I found these growing beside a poppy field I had been photographing; against the sea of red, the two flowers created a striking contrast. I zoomed in on the daisies and used a wide aperture, rendering the poppies softly out of focus and producing the perfect backdrop.

Print will be rolled in tissue and sent to you in a card postal tube.
